WEATHER CLOSING are based upon the current conditions in the area, not anticipated snow falls. Closing will be announced! If games are cancelled due to snow, they will not be rescheduled. Exceptions to this policy are only made when ample time is available in the facility to reschedule all games snowed out. If a game is not rescheduled, it will not count against the team. However, we have not had any closed games not scheduled in the past!
BYE REQUEST: we will allow teams to request one bye in a given season. We do not guarantee that we can honor that bye, but we will do our best to honor it. If we are unable to honor the bye request, your team will be expected to play that game and it will count in the schedule. Trying to honor the requests of many youth teams is sometimes impossible. However, we do a very good job at honoring most requests. All bye request must come in writing via email. Phone calls will not be accepted for by requests.
REFEREE WILL ISSUE TEAM SPORTSMANSHIP RATING (1-5, 5 is the best) AT THE END OF EVERY GAME:
Any teams receiving a 1 in sportsmanship: will be given a written warning! Conquerors League Soccer Academy has zero tolerance for referee abuse or player abuse so please alert the league of any issues.

FUTSAL IS PLAYED ON A GYM FLOOR! Outdoor soccer cleats are NOT allowed because players wearing cleats slip and fall putting themselves and all other players at risk of injury.
Players must wear indoor soccer or gym shoes that do not have carbon black which makes black marks on the floor in the sole.
Shin guards are required
All players, except goalkeeper, must wear a uniform shirt with a unique player number.
Please be on time and ready to go. Referee will start the game exactly as scheduled!
Futsal Indoor shoes are required (Turf or cleats are not permitted)**
Again shin guards are mandatory (Referee will not let you play)
Players must wear matching uniforms, numbers are required. If the uniform of the opponent is the same color, away team will provide a different color penny or bib.
No Bobbie pins, hard headbands, or hair clips.
1. No tackling in Futsal
2. No charging an opponent in a violent or dangerous manner
3. No striking, attempting to strike
4. No taunting, no profanity, no fighting and NO ARGUING WITH THE REFEREES!!
GAME RATINGS DEFINED:

Excellent respect, listening, and obedience to the Referee. Zero complaints from Coaches, Players, and/or Parents through words, gestures and/or expressions and body language.
FOUR (4): GOOD sporting behavior in ALL phases of the game. Good knowledge and observation of the Futsal Laws Of The Game. Excellent respect for the opponent players. Excellent respect, listening, and obedience to the Referee. Zero complaints from Coaches, Players, and/or Parents through words, gestures and/or expressions and body language.
THREE (3): ACCEPTABLE sporting behavior in ALL phases of the game. Good knowledge and observation of the Futsal Laws Of The Game. Good respect for the opponent players. Good respect, listening, and obedience to the Referee. or less complaints from Coaches, Players, and/or Parents through words, gestures and/or expressions and body language.
TWO (2): BELOW AVERAGE sporting behavior in some phases of the game. Fair knowledge and observation of most of the Futsal Laws Of The Game. Average respect for the opponent players. Average respect, listening, and obedience to the Referee. Several or more complaints from Coaches, Players, and/or Parents through words, gestures and/or expressions and body language.
ONE (1): UNACCEPTABLE sporting behavior in some phases of the game. Poor knowledge and observation some of the Futsal Laws Of The Game. Lack of respect for the opponent players. Indifferent respect, poor listening, and occasional grudging obedience to the Referee. Frequent complaints from Coaches, Players, and/or Parents through words, gestures and/or expressions and body language.
To earn a rating of 4 or 5, ALL identified conditions must be observed throughout the match – for ALL participants associated with the team: Coaches, Players, and Parents.
Ratings of 3, 2, or 1 will be assigned if ANY of the identified conditions are observed at any time during the match – for ALL participants associated with the team: Coaches, Players, and Parents
CONQUERORS LEAGUE SOCCER~FUTSAL ACADEMY HAS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY TOWARD ANY FIGHTING, ABUSING OR ASSAULTING AN OFFICIAL!
NO TAUNDING, NO PROFANITY AND NO ABUSE IN ANY FORM OR SHAPE DURING ANY GAMES!
Zero Tolerance Policy On Referee Abuse
Purpose of this Policy
The purpose of this policy is to make clear that verbal abuse or negative criticism of referees is as unacceptable as verbal abuse or negative criticism of players. This policy adopts basic standard sanctions for improper conduct.
This policy is not intended to imply that referees are always “right” and the spectator or coach is always “wrong”. Just as players make mistakes during play, referees will make mistakes in officiating as well!
It is never acceptable to abuse or criticize referees, verbally or otherwise, in any situation. The Conquerors League Soccer~Futsal Academy will not tolerate any verbal or other abuse, or criticism of referee by any player or coach or spectator. There are appropriate avenues for coaches and spectators to share concerns about the quality of officiating. The Conquerors League Soccer~Futsal Academy Director welcomes constructive comments about the referees.
Policy on Referee Abuse
Referees: Abuse towards any referee will not be tolerated! The offender must leave the site, and/or suspending or terminating the game.
Any concerns about the quality of officiating of a referee must be addressed to the Conquerors League Soccer~Futsal Academy Director after the game!
Disciplinary Sanctions For Referee Abuse
The following sanctions will be applied unless modified upon review of the incident by the NCYSA Review Committee.
Type of Abuse
Criticism, heckling, or verbal abuse of a referee (not including offensive, insulting, or foul-language) First Offense
1 game suspension
Serious verbal abuse of a referee (e.g. using offensive, insulting, or foul language), or repeated offense of less serious abuse.
Minimum 2 game suspension
Conquerors League Soccer~Futsal Academy Director will consider additional sanctions and/or remedial actions.
Coming onto the field to confront an adult referee.
Minimum 4 game suspension
A letter of apology to the referee.
Any specified form of appropriate apology to the players, coaches, and parents of the teams affected by the conduct.
Egregious offenses (e.g. repeated or multiple abusive situations, physical contact with a referee, or exceptionally inappropriate behavior directed toward a referee) shall result in immediate and continuing suspension of the offending person pending a thorough review. The Conquerors League Soccer~Futsal Academy Director will determine if further or more serious discipline is warranted. An egregious offense violates the fundamental mission of the Conquerors League Soccer~Futsal Academy and requires strong action. Discipline may include, but is not limited to, suspension for the season, suspension for multiple seasons, or lifetime bans.
Red Card Policy:
Any player that receives a red card shall be sent completely off the playing area and shall not return. If a player receives a yellow card and receives a second yellow card or a red card while on the bench serving the two minute penalty, the team shall play the rest of the game a player down.
Any player that is red carded for their conduct on the bench shall be sent completely off the playing area and shall not return. The team does not play down a person. If a team receives a team red card, the manager shall pull one player off the field and the team shall play the rest of the game one player down.
A player or coach that is red carded during or after a game by a referee will automatically be suspended for the next game of the league in which they received the red card. For example, if a player is red carded on a Monday, he or she will not be eligible to play until the Mondday of the following week. In addition, the player will be banned from playing on any other team until the suspension has been served. In the case of a double header, if a player is red carded during their first game of the night, they must sit out their next game. The suspension is then considered served. However, if a player is red carded in the second game of the night, they must serve the one week
suspension as outlined above. If a player is ejected in the last game of a session (he/she) will be prohibited from playing in the first game after he/she registers for another session.
Any team that causes a game to be called by the referee before time has expired due to unsportsmanlike conduct or extreme unsafe play shall forfeit that game
CONQUERORS LEAGUE SOCCER~FUTSAL ACADEMY HAS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY TOWARD ANY FIGHTING. Anyone fighting will be ejected and they will be banned from the facility permanently. This means that said player cannot participate or spectate at the Conquerors League Soccer~Futsal Academy ever again.
A player or coach red carded for the offense of "foul and abusive language" will be suspended as outlined above.
A player red carded for the offense of "persistent infraction of the rules” or receiving a second yellow card will be suspended as outlined above.
A player or coach red carded for the offense of "violent conduct" (including, but not limited to: spitting, threatening, continued rough play, etc.) will be suspended as outlined above and, in addition, will be suspended for one additional game and subject to further disciplinary action as decided by the facility management.
A player or coach red carded for "assaulting an official" will automatically be suspended from any further activities at the Conquerors League Soccer~Futsal Academy.
Should a coach of a team be unable to control a player's actions after a red card is issued, the coach will also be suspended as outlined above.
A player jumping from the player box onto the field to break up or participate in a fight will automatically be ejected from the game and will be subject to the same penalties as outlined above.
A $100 bond will be required from any team involved in an altercation where more than one player is involved in a fight. Should a bond be placed against a team, the bond must be paid prior to the team's next game, or that game will be forfeited. The terms of the bond will be given in writing to the team. Should the team fail to adhere to the terms, the bond will be forfeited to the arena and the team's participation will be terminated. If the team adheres to the terms of the bond, then the team will receive the $100 bond at the end of the session.
It is the responsibility of each player and the player's team representative to be aware of the total status of their player's infractions. Failure to comply may result in further disciplinary measures which may include suspension of the coach/rep. and forfeiture of games in which that player participated.
Red Cards are a serious offence any player that receives more than one red card a year will be suspended as outlined below.
Two red cards in a year = 3 game suspension
Three red cards in a year = 8 game suspension
Four red cards in a year = 1 year suspension
These sanctions do not limit, prevent, or replace any voluntary or required report or referral of improper conduct, by an adult toward any child, to any law enforcement or child protection agency.
